ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE (Post Open to Fiji Nationals Only)

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Accounts Executive is responsible for maintaining financial, accounting, administrative and personnel services in order to meet legislative requirements and support business operations.

SCOPE

The Accounts Executive reports to the Senior Administrative Officer and is responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining cash controls, preparing the payroll and personnel administration, purchasing, maintaining accounts payable and managing office operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Summary of Key Functions:
  -  Management of the company ledgers and petty cash
  -  Preparation of reports for the CEO, specifically for the budget
  -  Production of management accounts and forecasts
  -  Working alongside auditors
  -  Management of MYOB accounts
  -  Production of invoices and credit control

Required Skills and Experience

Education:

• Completion of secondary education required;
• Diploma or equivalent in Business or Public Administration is an asset.

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience preferably in a large or international corporation or organization;
• Experience in the use of computers applications and software packages (MS Word, Excel, MYOB etc) as well as web based management systems.

Language:

• Fluency in English is required;
